2 DAY SHOTGUN CHAPS CONSTRUCTION CLASS IN DELTA, UTAH - October 11 & 12th

This class is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. & a break for lunch. (you’ll need to bring your own lunch & drinks)

Class willl be held in Dale Dyer’s brand new leather shop!

A minimum of 4 students is needed to fill this class, if it’s not filled, you will be refunded.

*IF YOU SIGN UP ON THE WEBSITE, & THERE NEEDS TO BE A REFUND, IT WILL BE MINUS THE AMOUNT OF TRANSACTION FEES. IF YOU SEND A CHECK TO SIGN UP AND THERE NEEDS TO BE A REFUND, YOU WILL BE REFUNDED THE ENTIRE AMOUNT. REFUND WILL BE BY CHECK ONLY TO AVOID FEES.

-RIGHT after you sign up, I will need to talk to you about the measurements you will be using so we can get the correct size for your yokes.

-All hardware will be included for 1 pair of shotgun chaps. You will need to provide your own leather for the bodies. I will send you the yokes after you sign up so you can stamp or tool them to your liking. If you don’t want to stamp or tool them, I will have plain yokes on site.

-You’ll learn how to properly measure someone and apply those measurements to the pattern.

-We will talk about layout on the hide and why we layout where we do.

-I’ll teach you construction and efficient ways to accomplish building a pair.

-You will be using the sewing machines in the classroom, there will be a Cobra 4 and a 26 available to use.

You will go home with a completed pair of chaps, a pattern, and the knowledge to build another set! If you have any questions about the class, please contact me by email or phone!
