Leandra Martin Conceal Carry Class

Level - Intermediate to Advanced

June 24, 25, and 26th

Class is from 9-5 each day, with a break for lunch.  Please bring your own lunch.

In this class we will focus on a variety of techniques:

• The construction of a conceal carry pocket for compact to subcompact size pistols.  

• Please DO NOT bring your own pistol.  Blue guns will be available for size reference.  

• Creating and installing piping for trim.  This creates a nice crisp edge to our purse.  

• Creating a great fitting fabric liner.  No baggy liners!

• Installing a zippered top closure as well as zippered pockets. 

• Clean construction with finished edges.

• We will be using heavy duty sewing machines and a bell skiver.  

• You will go home with a completed purse, pattern, and the knowledge to make another purse using these techniques.

• If you want to add your own conchos to the bag, please bring 4, 1” conchos.

• You also have the option to add a Pendleton Wool Panel to the front, bring a piece of Wool that is 14.25”w x 13”t

You will need to provide your own bag leather. Bag or chap leather in 3.5-4 oz weight is recommended.  No oil tans.  All other materials will be provided.  Trim for strap connectors, zipper windows, straps, and YKK zipper tape will be black, so please plan your bag leather accordingly.  Hardware will be antique brass.  Fabric liner will be a solid neutral color.  

This class is non-refundable.  If you need to cancel for any reason, please let us know asap as we will work with you to fill your spot if possible or reschedule to another class time with Leandra.  We will need a minimum of five students to make this class possible.  If this class doesn’t fill, you will be refunded via check to avoid processing fees.  Please know that we work very hard to fill each class and are looking forward to making this one a success!
